Every lithium battery has an internal controlled battery management system (BMS) that monitors the key operational parameters during charging and discharging, such as voltages, currents and internal temperatures. The number of cycles of lithium batteries can reach 2000-6000 times, and the service life is as long as ten years. Lead-acid batteries have only 500-800 cycles and a service life of 1-2 years.
